The GC-N100 occupancy counter measures the number of people passing through an opening, such as a doorway. It features an RS-485 BACnet MS/TP or Modbus network connection, enabling seamless integration with building automation systems and controllers that support network connectivity. The device utilizes two thermopiles to detect the thermal signatures of individuals passing through the opening in real time.
Designed for applications with ten or more people in a space, the GC-N100 is perfect for population-based demand-controlled ventilation (DCV) applications and is compatible with all GreenTrol outdoor air controllers. Additionally, it is well-suited for general counting applications that analyze occupant movement and activity in settings such as retail and mixed-use spaces. The bi-directional counting capability allows multiple counters to be used within a single area.
